This will not work. The game has to connect to the internet, to connect to the servers, and as soon as it does, it will send what information it wants to.
ok,i dont understand that. do we talk about the game-loading time to the Login page (you must not have Connection till there) or after the Login into the Garage ?
My Problem is : how will they know who is starting the game because you can play with different accounts on the same pc. It could only be after trying to log
in the garage (i-connected and account-name is readable)
01.12.2016 at 10:34 #111002polfraMemberHy ladies!! not a joke! my friend is ban for 7 days! lol
with the protected python
so wahat to do??
01.12.2016 at 11:32 #111003SailorMemberI’m almost afraid to play now.
01.12.2016 at 11:43 #111004soulzaParticipanti would like to see how many got banned that use the auto repair ? i have a feeling that this is the only cheat they are able to detect (spotters version)
FYI take two accounts exact same res_mods folder , one gets banned the other does not ? this happened to me , same res_mods so same mods yet one account has been blocked ,so this sort of ties into when the game loads and they can have info sent to their servers at the time of login , these are part of the preferences file in appdata , if these were decoded i would imagine , here lies the culprits
01.12.2016 at 11:54 #111005SailorMemberhmmmm. I use spoters repair mod. Have to look for something else. I mainly use it for the auto fire feature.

Nothing in the game happens until you are logged in.

Have you tried adding a mod or removing and seeing if the files changes?
this is a good idea
01.12.2016 at 12:56 #111008SailorMemberI removed all mods and deleted the pref file and logged in. Then looked at file and the only one is the login info garbage.
I did find this file in the main WoT directory: wgc_api.dll.
I was able to decompile it.
start proc
0 1004a738 PUSH EBP
4 1004a739 MOV EBP,ESP
4 1004a73b CMP DWORD PTR [EBP+0C],+01
4 1004a73f JNZ 1004A746
4 1004a741 CALL sub_10057094
4 1004a746 PUSH DWORD PTR [EBP+10]
8 1004a749 PUSH DWORD PTR [EBP+0C]
c 1004a74c PUSH DWORD PTR [EBP+08]
10 1004a74f CALL sub_1004a75b
10 1004a754 ADD ESP,+0C
4 1004a757 POP EBP
0 1004a758 RET 000C
start endpI have no idea what it means though.
01.12.2016 at 15:04 #111009foreverflameMemberI wonder if Tundra mods that are independent to the client (i.e. starts as independent .exe, not script, so no need to start with game client at the same time) will get detected? It’s an external application, so it probably won’t appear in log files.

First off all, a little introduction, I’m a lawyer from Croatia and a huge fan of WoT. Ok, so lets share some info. First of all, spying on the things you do on your computer without your knowledge and consent is a violation of your privacy rights guaranteed by the “Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms” and its Protocols. There is a thin line (well, more like a huge gap) on balancing the two rights, your right to privacy and their right to protection, fair play or how ever do they want to call it. Basically, they have more than enough government instruments at their disposal to stop you and make you do what they want (play fairly, hehe) legally.
The problem is that no one is suing them just yet.
That out of the way, second and a little more important thing:
A little birdie told me (lets call this birdie a WOT employee ;)) that they have some means to semi legal inspect what are you doing and what mods are you using. The main problem are owners of premium tanks. They paid for the product, and by banning that players they would be in serious problem for violating the ownership rights.
So, the intern instruction is, and I quote: “…bann only the users that you can pinpoint with 100% certainty and only bann them LIGHTLY. Under no circumstances are you to permanently bann users who have bought premium tanks. Reward premium tanks are excluded (stug IV, toldi III, even Dicker max, FV-4202 (P) and others that are obtained as a reward are excluded) so you can bann users that only have regular and reward tanks. But in any case, double check with your supervisor before banning anyone…”
I found out a couple of more things such as:
- several moderators have been approached and offered various things, from premium time and tanks to real money for leaking their data files,
- there is a WOT team (3 members currently) whose sole job description is to download mods, check them out in the battlefield, flag them as green or illegal and inspect the files of the illegal ones
I found out some more stuff, but I’ve written it down at home, will post it as soon as I’m finished working

In the meantime, enjoy the game.
Oh and yeah, plazma keep up the good work, I love your blog;
Polarfox, helpics, apollo and other great moderators out there, keep up the good work too.

A couple of things. They can legally read the memory that the game is loaded in, without doing this, the game would not run, and they can check that for mods. Most apps to something similar to ensure you are running a licensed version. They can not take screen shots, or capture the contents of your computer, these are both easy to catch.
As for premium tanks, you do not own them, you get a limited use license for their use, and WG can rescind for violations of the software agreement.

Well, if you were REALLY good at reading assembler code — then I would have to start worrying about you!

Nope, not UUENCODE – didnt get anything. Tells me this is a hash of the collected data.
