WG bans

I think everyone already saw the news about fair play, about the ban for using prohibited mods. Game client doesn’t have tracking code (at this time). No reasons for concern, it’s just an act of intimidation (I’m sure many people remove many mods).

 If anything changes we’ll report it. Don’t panic and play as always.

to ban would mean a blanket ban for everyone who uses illegal mods , this would not happen as someone who has dug deep enough to find illegal mods plays the game a lot and also spends money on the game for prem time , prem tanks etc.

the reason there are so many prem vehicles in the game atm is because they want you to spend money on anything and everything , they will not ban many only stingy feckers that get reported and they are forced to check replays etc.

to many people use cheats if its only enemy outline mod or tracers its a cheat  , they wouldnt want to ruin their own christmas would they

lets be honest i dont think there is that many people using  illegal mods then again there may be a shit load of players using at least 1 so it could hurt the cash flow big time if the second one is right

This is an interesting situation for WG, they could ‘bite the hand that feeds it’ if taken too far, however cheating may be a problem in some areas of the game. Personally, I play for fun, play only random battles, don’t participate in CW or tournaments, nor post replays. I do spend money on gold, premium time and tanks. I don’t cheat to win stuff from them….but just to give scrub a bit of an advantage to try and improve my crappy 1050wn8. They won’t bother with me, because I’ll just take my $100/month somewhere else…. If 100’s, or 1000’s of people do the same thing, I think they’d be in trouble! Good luck everyone….and a piece of advice, don’t make yourself obvious. Be discrete and have fun playing!

I have a feeling that all this fuzz will be based on reports.  On the case of ASIA server i think they will check for the top 100 or 1000 players on the “top tankers” mission. Just a hunch, but i really do hope that my hunch will be wrong. I dont know their pattern for EU and NA.

Then again its not WG if they’re not making crazy mistakes.. its like a trademark for them.
