Important info needed.
If anyone played on faceit and got banned in the second wave please post.
A_TrollMemberWell they said more to you than they did to me.

It’s important to share if you were using ONLY that mod or if you use others.
If you got a ban there is nothing you can do. Trust me when I say that WG will NOT discuss anything with you if you send a ticket. I do know of 4 people in the last ban wave that didn’t use illegal mods.

Your WN8/efficiency is more of a barometer of how you are playing.
Winrate is what WG servers trigger on strangely enough. (Waves a red flag with the word CHEATER in big letters lol). So if you get good players on your team you are a cheater

WN8 can be padded.
Only thing that really matters is if you had fun. (Oh…… and the rage PMs after battle).
A_TrollMemberJust means that WG SAYS they did, and won’t give any proof.

because this has not already come to light leads me to think what they are doing is slightly illegal by using a third party to provide data , if i was pushed to guess i would point to PMOD or POLAROID related,
i have strong reasons to assume this due to having two accounts (different servers) but both accounts used exact same mods apart from stats , one used PMOD version other did not and the PMOD account got banned,
also stats is an easy way to get or send info from client to server , just put a version checker in with a little bit of nasty code and its done..
i still dont think WG are able to do half of what they claim without breaking certain laws and they know it.
open a can of worms and your going to get a can of whoop ass as well.
it still remains to see life time bans as of yet , will they ever happen ? i think for non premium tank owners yes they will , there is a whole legal mess that is waiting for WG if they ban people who have paid for use of premiums
so lifetime bans are a non starter and they know it ,it only takes one determined player who has all the time he needs and money to take them on and certainly win his case for refunds, once one does it , the door is open.for everyone , because its a free to play game does not mean they own your ass , if you have bought premium tanks you bought them for life , when you clicked the button to buy , there was no disclaimer saying if we bring rules out later and you break them we gonna keep your money but not let you use your premium ? lol should be interesting
They have this already prepared. It was a subtext on a ticket.
* This violation is not take lightly, * If you have received permanent ban, you can get opportunity for unlocking your account and continue your game with wiped account! In this case please contact us back! * This type of ban, can be assigned as well for violations mentioned trough your mailbox!A_TrollMemberYepp. I forgot those lol. (Wasn’t me was it?
)A_TrollMemberDefinatly. The TT mod was the cause of most of the bans and some were “added” to the list because banning just those would have caused must more waves.
Reasons.
1. Illegal mods (whatever the capture reason).
2. Client sharing during the TT event. (Lots of false bans there).
3. WG thinks you deserve one. (Because they know but can’t prove it)…… note this one could be the winrate/PR jump detector. (Lots of sealclubbers got caught there).
They put them all in one package and refused to give reasons.
A_TrollMemberOK guys. Sadly little info is coming from the devs so this is what we know so far.
The banwave was connected to the TT event. Using the TT mod (yeah, the one Aslain has in his modpack) caused reports to WG. (No, I’m not going into more detail here).
Do a clean install. Start vanilla then protect your python log. Do not install the TT mod. If this is 100% safe yet we don’t know. So try at your own risk until the devs figure it out.
A_TrollMemberHaha good smokescreen by CS.

No. I’m sorry and I mean no disrespect but posting for everyone to see is not so smart perhaps.
A_TrollMemberI know how they triggered it for some but not others. (I think).
A_TrollMemberI think I figured it out. PM from devs to explain it.
(Anyone else who is NOT a dev I will not reply to for obvious reasons).
A_TrollMember1. It looks like SAE to me. That is why the numbers on the RU server are so high. There are far more using SAE there.
2. In 2 clients using identical XVM setups but different aimbots, only the one with SAE got banned.
3. Other mods get caught too but I haven’t figured those out yet. If the mod gets detected during client load it could be anything so perhaps the most common ones are most dangerous.
WG is talking about 1st wave / 2nd wave. I suspect that they have to configure the detection so they are only looking for a limited amount of mods in each wave, they then need to set new parameters.
If the detection is done in-game, looking at the players behavior, (aimpoints), that limits the types detectable to aim enhancing mods. (Looking for impossible locks or continued lock after “spot lost”.
A_TrollMemberHere’s a little gem that might help.
CS answered a ticket and implied that the cheats are detected when the game loads.
