Oh fuck yeah. You haven’t seen them? They usually have 3 or 4 numbers after a common nick. Can’t remember if WG admitted it yet but they have never denied it. One of the developers (sorta) mentioned that they add bots on low server peaks. I can’t remember who or when. I think it was last year.
XVM has no game server Bob. The statistics you get from them are taken from the WG api and sent to your game client by the XVM team for display in-game. It does not send you to a special server….. there are none. YOU CANNOT PLAY THE GAME ON ANYTHING APART FROM WGs SERVERS.
WG do use bots to fill the servers at low peak, or they limit the number of players per team, they always have, but no-one sends you to a different server.
This happened to me ages ago on EU. It usually just happened in low tier battles 1 + 2 but it stopped and I haven’t seen it for a while.
I guess the gold spammers are focusing on NA now.

Bodo. There is only one version. The free version.
The free version comes with a time limited licence file.
The paid version is the unlimited licence file……… just the licence. So…. free version + unlimited licence = unlimited version.
If there was a special unlocked version to download, what would stop you sharing it with a friend? So, you get a licence that only you can use that unlocks the mod. That’s the unlimited version.

The free version is for the times it is free to use. (Limited trial time). The paid version is for those who pay for the licence. In principle they are the same it’s just that the free version will stop working after a while UNLESS you have an unlimited licence.
Example.
1. I have no licence. I download the free version. It works for the time limit and then stops working. I like it and buy a licence. I drop the licence in the mods folder and the mod starts working again without having to download another version of the mod.
2. I already have an unlimited licence. I can download either the free or the paid version (because they are the same). I start the game, exit the game and drop my licence in the game folder and start the game again. All fixed.
So. The 2 versions are the same. The free version contains a time limit in the licence and the paid version contains no licence at all and you need to provide the one you bought.

I refuse to post on the WG forums because of the stupid people that post there. I like it here though because people are more open-minded and not posting to get brownie-points with WG.
Sooooooooo. Let’s write the facts down for them so they can see it once and for all.
Banwave 1 and 2…..
A large amount of players that were banned had inactive accounts, i.e. they had not played for a long time. I stopped verifying after an hour or so.
No active “elite” players were banned. In the case of the first ban it was because of the low-point in elite clan activity and the up-coming ESL, (Or was it WGL?). Active “top players” were EXCLUDED from the list BEFORE the ban.
(Contest that all you want, that is a fact).
The facts about the exclusions was in fact presented to WG in an argument about the bans. They did not reply to, (or even deny) anything publicly. It was however confirmed later that some players were excluded and some had the bans, or strikes removed, because of “other” reasons.

WG removed the possibility to see who was banned in the API, the forums and the clan members page to make statistics gathering impossible.
WG has more-or-less made comments to the effect that the “investigations” are triggered by over-performance. If you don’t regularly seal-club to farm XP you are golden and will avoid the stupid checker-bots.
The trick with them seems to be this……..
Do not accept friend requests from unknown players. (Accepting the requests will allow the checker-bot to see when you are online and in battle. It will get dropped into battle with you when you next enter). Most of the people I have talked to, that were banned, remembered the checker-bot. A lot, (not all), remembered accepting friend requests from random players.
If you see a checker-bot do not fire. Just watch it. They are cute and will follow you anywhere. I still haven’t made my mind up 100% if there is a human driving it or not. The checking does look automated though. (It starts when you fire).

Yupp. It’s for real. That is how WG checks if you are cheating or not. They drop checkers in your game and record what your gun does. Based on that you get banned.
They were the plus and minus points you got on the forum before they removed it I think.
I had this error when testing auto equip. I had changed equip before I closed the client and the auto equip tried to fill those slots and got an error.
Dinosaur Bob? Just so you know, their tinfoil hats didn’t work against the asteroid that killed them.
