Ok, we need to give WG a break… after all, WG NA suffered a huge loss. Why do you think they combined the servers again? The hamster running the “NA West” server died and due to budget cuts they couldn’t replace him. ;)

Why do they deserve a break? Why do you think they had the huge loss?  WOT has tried to cut expenses to make more money  available for new game development.  Until they get quality people back as developers they deserve nothing. They owe us as players, and sometimes payers, a well managed game. The result is just what is happening, player are going elsewhere. They are starving their own cash cow.

Thus, they are not competent enough to be banning players. This forum has proved that!

It’s interesting that WG thinks it can detect mods effectively enough to ban players, but they can’t get their touted awards system to tally correctly nor can they get chat to work as it should. But i guess they don’t have to answer to anyone on the bans. Go figure!

Not having much luck with either. Not intuitive enough, always aims at center of target and won’t shoot at all if center isn’t visible. Does pretty good on moving targets. I went back to v1 .  Probably try it again later.

I agree with the security but don’t like the sharing of phone numbers.

    Thanks for the research!

I have SAE and PFMods which are essentially the same. I got mine to work by doing the following:

      1. Delete everything in the existing World_of_Tanks  res_mods folder.

      2. Reinstall v29.

      3. Restart WOT to make sure that SAE works and registers correctly.

     4. Copy and paste the folders res_mods and mod_config to a new folder such as C:Temp.

     5. Then download v29_CT and extract it with WinRAR  to the new folder you just created. Allow the overwrite of existing files.

     6. Using WinRAR I compressed the new res_mods and mod_config into a ZIP file named SAE.zip.

     7. Following the successful compaction, install any other mods you might use.

     8.  Extract the new SAE.zip to the original World_of_Tanks folder.

My SAE now works successfully with PFMods, Aslain’s and everything else. This should work until the new official version comes out

This can be done without deleting the existing res_mods folder and extracting v29_CT over it. It was much easier for me to make a zip file as I use Aslain’s and he updates frequently.

Hopefully I explained this where everyone can follow.

    Thanks! It all works now!
