Banwave September 2017

To keep the forum tidy, please add banwave comments here.

The developers need as much info as possible to figure out what triggers the bans.

Here’s mine.

Account 1. BW unlimited only. No ban.

Account 2. BW unlimited + XVM. No ban.

Account 3. Hawgs + SAE. No ban.

Account 4. Apollo/Helics/Gee/PF + SAE + Proaim + some other stuff. No ban.

Account 5. Vanilla. No ban.

Account 6. XVM only. No ban.

None of the accounts used healthcare, but pretty much used everything else.

None of the account stats have jumped a lot since last banwave and I have been careful to miss and manually aim sometimes, except with account 3. Only Account 3 and 4 used autoshot.

Please add your configurations/thoughts in this thread so it is easier to follow. Multiple threads on the forums cause confusion and some important info can be missed.

Account 2: Vanilla. – Never ban

I just have 1 Account with BW Mods Unlimited 7 Day ban

Account 1: BW Mods + Aslain’s AVM + Pulse Sight = Never banned

Account 2: BW Mods + Hawg’s + Pulse Sight = Never banned

Account 3: ZJ’s Mods (trials) + *insert any other mod i tested* = Just received 7 day ban (My mod testing account so nothing lost here) never used BW Mods on this account.

Acc 3: ZJ’s Mods + XVM = Currently no bans (fresh acc)

Acc 2: GeeMod :     No ban

Interesting, a couple guys on NA got 7 day ban and both said they only have used QuickyBaby’s modpack.

I saw that. Funny thing is, they stated……

That looks to me like detection of Dr. Webber or he was reported as a bot too many times. Interesting that they chose that paragraph to send.  Eu just copy/pastes the same stupid message.

i use XVM + aslain + BW unlimited + helpicaimbot, get 7 day ban.

funny here, i was for vacation last 16 days, ban end tomorrow come back today. so i  get ban and no play @ this time

It’s interesting that WG thinks it can detect mods effectively enough to ban players, but they can’t get their touted awards system to tally correctly nor can they get chat to work as it should. But i guess they don’t have to answer to anyone on the bans. Go figure!
