Ok, we need to give WG a break… after all, WG NA suffered a huge loss. Why do you think they combined the servers again? The hamster running the “NA West” server died and due to budget cuts they couldn’t replace him.

why make a new one?
technically this thread is the “official” banwave thread, CuntyBollox started that one to let poeple know they were banned and asked if they were part of a recent banwave. Somehow people managed to turn it into another banwave thread…

Why do they deserve a break? Why do you think they had the huge loss? WOT has tried to cut expenses to make more money available for new game development. Until they get quality people back as developers they deserve nothing. They owe us as players, and sometimes payers, a well managed game. The result is just what is happening, player are going elsewhere. They are starving their own cash cow.
Thus, they are not competent enough to be banning players. This forum has proved that!

Don’t forget that the east one suffered a stroke and ended up partially paralyzed..
Or, a lesson in how to lose players through shitty infrastructure because thats what you bought and refuse to acknowledge that it’s subpar on this continent.
It’s less about the game mechanics/features as it is about the pure jank behind the scenes with the core.

Apologies for starting at the beginning of the thread.
@ WHYPHY: Why do they deserve a break? I agree with you because It is a still a free game and players are more than welcome to play under their conditions. That has never changed.
They owe us as players, and sometimes payers, a well managed game. They have given you a free working game and again if you stick by their rules then the game works 100%. You are paying for “extras” and not for their free game so it matters not wether you pay or not. As far as WOT are concerned the cheaters are costing them some business income.
Thus, they are not competent enough to be banning players. This forum has proved that! Many, many times over forums have been clearly shown to have players adding comments that are unsubstantiated. Players have claimed they were ONLY running Mods “ABC….etc” and swear by it. Yet when they posted their logs it showed that other undesirable Mods were running and still they claimed that the log was incorrect. Therefore until such times a forum contains 100% of the players telling 100% of the truth then one should never believe everything they read in a forum.
Read between the lines of the forums and decide who you think is telling the truth and believe me there are many players in this forum that I trust explicitly as I have never been banned and I ONLY use the mods provided in here.
Yet another ban phase has been implemented and I am not among them. That counts for something and it’s all a credit to the excellent Modders in this forum.

WG bans players in the banwaves. How many of those in the banwaves were for illegal mods? Many? A few? Some? No-one knows.
WG bans people when they genuinely were not cheating. They do not ban people who ARE cheating. They do not prove anything. They do not allow appeal. They ban whoever they choose……. yes….. CHOOSE. They say in the FPP to trust them. How can they be trusted if even ONE of those bans was wrong and the poor player cannot appeal? Without proof there is no crime.
WG cannot detect the modpacks here. If they could EVERYONE using them would be banned. D’oh.
