LOL — I believe SRQ said it quite well.  String, I have nothing to be ashamed of when I try to keep things at a fairly simple level.  If you read that quote again you will notice the very clever use of the phrase “hold the key” as in “provide the path” or “hold the secret”.  I know what is used and how it is used — but there was no need to go into that kind of detail.  Note that I never said “your userid/password ***IS** the key” (although I suppose one could even argue that THAT phrase is a literary turn).
