Re: WG bans

Just my 2p worth:

A few years ago I used to play an online multiplayer game called “battle pirates” run by a dumbass company called Kixeye, my account was banned for “cheating” but they NEVER supplied any proof and they said they couldnt/wouldnt, even though I never used any cheats on the dam game, I was banned because they “said so” 

I spent around a grand on the game, bought gold etc, I lost it all, gone without so much of an effort by the company to refund ANYTHING, they said because I broke their “terms and conditions” I forfeited anything I put in, my solicitor was involved and my account was reinstated albeit zero level (reset) with 1/4 of the gold I had actually perchased, I lost every competiton ship/weapon I had legitimately won, after 6 months, I was banned again, same bullshit, solicitor involved again, but this time he said they could do nothing, I would have to pursue the matter in a European court and foot all costs, I was told just to forget it as the costs would outweigh the money I “might” get back.

These companies just make shit up as they go along, adjusting their T&C’s as they go, you cant win, so just play their game if you want to, if you cheat you get banned and you wont have a leg to stand on.
