Yes, client is trying to connect to those sites. And to anothers site listed as “fraud”, “hijack” etc. Not only those 3 which i listed.

But if you say it is OK i understand it. But i will block it not only with Malwarebytes but with firewall too. And i am sorry, i understand that you are having money from it. I like this mod. I dont have problem with monetizing but only by safe sites, not this.

Thanks for your clarification and again i am sorry that i busy you all.

    Bye

I do not make money from anything here. I do this for free to help others.  BW does not pay me and I get nothing from anywhere else. I can’t help if you don’t trust me.

    I give up.

Again. Do you see that it is not AVG but Malwarebytes?!? I am not using AVG!!! So please stop saying something about AVG. AVG is piece of crack by my opinion. ;) AVG is www.avg.com, Malwarebytes is https://www.malwarebytes.com/ . Two totally different products. ;)

And that it is real-time blocking connection to really bad sites?!? Did you tried look at those sites? You can look there. I did in 1 virtual station and nobody really dont wanna go there.

And this all is only doing with this mod.

I dont have problem if mod load some page for google ads etc. If those sites are safe sites and not this type of sites.

I am using this mod long time and until this last version there was not this type of problems.

I dont have problem with pop-ups from Malwarebytes but that this mod is trying connect to bad sites.

Wasn’t talking to you. Someone else is using AVG and I was talking to them. Same thing for Malwarebytes….. whitelist it.

Did your client connect to any of those sites or are you just complaining………………. because they COULD have?

    2. Every address Google Analytics sends (suggests) is saved in a cookie file here……

    3. AVG captures the cookie file being saved because the cookie name contains a spam address.

It doesn’t do anything. When the browser plugin gets addresses from Google Analytics (GA suggests them all the time) it writes them in ONE file…. the cef_cachecookies file.

    That’s it.

Your AVG is capturing the text being written in the cookies file.

Whitelist cef_browser_process.exe in AVG. No more pop-ups. (You won’t get any in the game either).

Try it. If you do get spam in the game remove it from the whitelist, tell me and I will eat a rotten pototoe.

It doesn’t. You are wrong. Try again.

Whatever you decide and reason upon it still remains that intelligent people on this topic have suggested and commented that the “cef” file does not belong in your game.

    Who did?

    Yes it does.

Use the “cef” file to copy anyones file wether it be copyright theft or otherwise but I don’t need  your file. *again deleted*

Can you type that again in English so I can reply?

PS This is War Gaming and World of tanks. Now you are offering conspiracy theories that Google is to blame?

No. It is a side effect of using a browser plugin by Google instead of hiring competent programmers. You provided the conspiracy theory…. in fact you started the thread with it.

You claim to be a cab.file ninja Bob. You should have seen that the file is included in the install package (if you really DID look). The fucking file has always been there. It used to be called Awesomium. Both that and the cef are copyrighted by Wargaming. Get your facts straight.

The file reinstalls itself after you delete it because it is part of the game client.

Oh and what is your thought process on your comment? @ A_Ttroll” f I am wrong…. please feel free to call me an idiot. I cannot see bit-mining, trojans, malware ”

I can’t see any malware acctivity. It does not happen. If you are so deeply concerned about attempts on your PC, why are you using (and trusting) AVG? Is it because you are a cheapo or are you just clueless?

Seriously Bob…. you started this thread as a conspiricy theory. That got de-bunked. I’ve told you what it does. I spent a lot of time finding out for 3 reasons.

    1. I was curious.

    2. I love to prove the non-existance of Aliens and illuminati in WoT.

    3. You won’t drop it because…… reasons. (My-oh-my that makes all the hard work worth it).

This says that it has loaded BW mods.

To stop this you need to delete this file.

Your python log is looking for mods associated with the game client load and cannot find them in the mods or res_mods folders. The “hang” you have looks like the game (mods) looking for files that are deleted and this is making it hang.

Here ya all go. Thanks to Apollo for putting the last puzzle pieces in place for me.

The AVG flags DO NOT come from mods. They are not intentional from WG either. It’s all down to how the plugins work and useless data they collect.

This is what I think is happening.

    1. The cef_browser_process.exe is simply communicating with Google analytics without acctually displaying anything.

    2. Every address Google Analytics sends (suggests) is saved in a cookie file here……

                             C:Users***Your Name***AppDataRoamingWargaming.netWorldOfTanksprofilecef_cache

    3. AVG captures the cookie file being saved because the cookie name contains a spam address.

    4. AVG reports cef_browser_process.exe is trying to connect to….. blablabla……. when in fact it is just saving data to a cookie file. My f-sec does not look at it as a communication to internet so it does not flag it.

If I am wrong…. please feel free to call me an idiot. I cannot see bit-mining, trojans, malware or anything happening. It’s just addresses being saved that CONTAIN spam triggers. Someone mentioned acctually getting pop-ups but I REALLY can’t get that to happen.

What I do know is this….

Polyacov_Yury mods: radial menu, ut announcer, tank lights, colored chat kill msgs, camo selector.

One or all of those stuck something into the game (or register) that used that process.

Maybe somebody else figured out how to do that too?

It does not do that in my client but I only use BW mods. I use f-sec and got no messages. Nothing happens if I turn it off either.

Anybody want to share what mods they use (or have used) before they found this?

(Need I say I do not trust AVG).

I was wondering if you can search the PC for the adress signature in another folder/file/register entry. I wanna know where it came from because it doesn’t do that on my client.
