Technical help – spare parts PC

So I am looking to build a extra PC out of some spare parts laying around here.

I’m locked in on some stuff like GPU and memory but have a choice of mobo/ processors.

 

My first thought was “I’ll just upgrade my current and then toss the 955/ud3 in this backup”.  

Sadly I think my wife’s first thought was “he’s gonna try to upgrade his PC… spend all the money!!!

Amd sempron sdx145hbk13gm 2.8ghz, single core, 1mb l2, 45w socket am3 in a bit biostar N68s3+ mobo.

OR

Amd athlon 64 x2 ad03600iaa5dd, 1.9ghz, dual core,  1mb l2, 65w, socket am2+ in a gigabyte ga-m61pme-s2p board.

 

Use is mainly browsing and game emulation(Mame mainly…)
