    Hi guys ,

i saw in the last few days after holidays ( with 19.0.2 i dont have this and i start after holiday with 19.1.1)  that WoT made sometimes a replay from a battel. Always if battel is finished

window is freazed and i must restart the game. And after this there is a file in the replay folder.

The size is between 5kb to 64kb. In game replays deactivated and the folder itself is writeprotected.

I think i get a report in this games …. so many noobs, sometimes i must say that in the chat.

Have somebody else things like this?

I think the game saves last battle as a replay by default. This replay is overwritten when you play the next battle. (Please correct me if I am wrong, I save all replays by default so I don’t know what happens if you turn it off).

However. WoT cannot save replays if the folder is properly write protected, Windows will not allow it. It will cause garage load lags when it tries. I would love to know HOW you write protected the folder if replays still sneak in there.

My recommendation would be to NOT write protect anything in the game folder as I would be paranoid about an update error being logged and WG (in their own smart logic lol) might think you are hiding something and ban you for cheating.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish by that.  It has been well proven that WG does not read the python log or monitor you game on your computer.  FYI, a replay does not contain information about your mods.  You can change mods and run the replay and it will always show what you currently have installed.  So having your replay does nothing.

If it does nothing it´s ok, but how are they overmade the windows writeprotection?

They can’t if it was done correctly.

You have 2 things to do in the settings for the file in windows to write protect it. You saying one of them was from the game makes me think you did not do it correctly.

This is all blablabla anyway. Listen to SRQ.
