No. I wasn’t, and I’m not banned.
The reason for this thread is so the active forumites here can help and give advice to players who have been banned. (Or are worried that they might be). We will try to answer as best we can but sometimes the WG banhammar is unfair.
As frequent users here already know, I am very interested in the mechanics of WG’s bans. Please post (or PM me if you are shy) any information that might be helpful so we can figure out how and why. Any conclusions we might have can then be shared with our community to try and make it better and more informative.
Now the usual warnings.
WG read these forums. Do not use your in-game nick here. (Don’t post screenshots showing your nick either).
Naming and shaming IS allowed, as long as it is relevant to this thread. (I can’t moderate this thread but the site moderators are swift and fair).
What you can post
Why do you think you got reported/banned? Do you know by who?
Did you get a reason for the ban from WG?
Did you send a ticket and what reply did you get?
Do you use ANY mods at all? (Please be detailed, lots of info is good).
Anything else that might help?
Let’s see how this thread develops. Discussions and suggestions are good.

Not here. It was in the WG forums of all places.
If I remember correctly it was someone complaining about “a friend” having issues in the game and he posted a screenshot. ok. so not here… now is all more clear
i have done so before , i was so used to using speedtree/tundra that i forgot to remove it for screenshots , there is a argument for it though by saying that the screenshot is from a replay file and not live in battle and can be checked by looking at the fps counter as it shows two actual and recorded fps, i got away with it once

Hahaha soulza in sneeky. +1 for getting away with it. I actually posted a funny YT clip once and had a brain fart. You could see the reload timers on the minimap. One of my clanmates told me about 15 mins after I posted it so I removed it. *Phew*
That’s why when I post a replay, I remove ALL mods before hand.
I simply stopped posting. I platoon with clan m8’s only and don’t talk to strangers. I also have a whistle and pepper spray.
