i have exact same ping on all the servers on eu cluster i guess there is no reason to force my client in a chosen server or am i wrong i edited the registry of w7 with TcpackFrequency and Tcpnodelay and i gained extra 5ms ;) i flush my dns via cmd with this comand ipconfig /flushdns

    works good for me

i suggest you create a restore point of your os before running tcp optimizer because it will write new keys in your reg ;)

I have some different pings on the server of both eu cluster. it may be a problem with the routing. i traced the servers with pingplotter over 24h to see their performance and package loss. So i choose the best server for me. But the whole thing depends on your provider, the routing and the servers.

PS: SGE TCP/IP Optimizer has an internal optional to make an backup of your reg before you accept the chances.

    SG TCP Optimizer

    1. Start the SG TCP Optimizer as an administrator

    2. Choose “Costum”, set up your correct speed of your internet connection, take over the values for general & advanced options as to see from the pictures below and apply the changes.

    3. Mark the options as to see on the picture below, click “OK” and restart your PC.

    4. After the reboot you are done and everything should be fine.
