UPDATE
do this:-
feck me sideways!!!!!
i found the culprit , but dont take my word for it
just test this , reload your last battle replay and note fps during battle ,
now go into scripts/client/gui/mods and remove these two files
mod calculator_rankings_battle.pyc
mod_calculator_rankings_battle.json
now make a note of your fps at the same points you did with first run of the replay file .
this mod i think has not been updated just re packaged for 9.17 , its leaking fps with each battle you play
many have reported loss of FPS while running xvm especially with the latest patch
my own xvm version of keho blue is almost identical from previous patch yet i am getting a massive fall off on fps so i have been investigating
here is a screenshot i just took after i tweaked up my config, its showing clear 111 fps on average sometimes higher some times lower but a good fps,
without tweaks i am averaging around 50 fps so almost double or 50 fps gained.
ok what did i change?
first off open up minimap.xc
set it to false and then go to ingame settings and enable the ingame minimap settings.
next playerspanels.xc
depending if you have dynamic hitpoints showing in your players panels they will eat fps , i had all five panels showing dynamic hps even though you select say small panel to play the dynamic hps on the other panels are still being calculated in the background so disable them in any panels you dont use in battle , i use the ones shown in the picture below so i left these on but disabled them in the other four panels.
if you make these changes you WILL GAIN those much needed FPS back ,anyone using keho blue and not able to do this themselves ,let me know which panel you want to keep the hp on and i will disable the other panels and post the config file for you.
08.01.2017 at 16:14 #111686kupjonesMemberThe problem I am having is not starting out with low FPS, but rather losing FPS as I play more rounds. A WOT restart usually clears it up, then the cycle repeats. Nevertheless, I am trying what you suggest and disabling the other panels as I do not use them. Minimap is another issue — I rely heavily on my HP circles!
Thanks for the tip!
you will still get full minimap with circles if you enable the clients version of minimap in settings
Not the vision circles — the dynamic HP circles that I implemented using the progressive fonts. The circle decreases as each tank loses HP – i am contantly looking at the minimap and I can see position and HP at the same time.

09.01.2017 at 04:47 #111689SailorMemberI haven’t noticed any FPS drops using xvm, though I haven’t really paid attention. Only once did I have some serious lag and that was for a few seconds. WG must have been looking at me.

I will give this a try though. Can you send me the config for the short panel?
10.01.2017 at 09:00 #111690Counterpart2MemberHi,
I gave it a try with my second account on EU and didnt work.
Had FPS losses after the 4th round.
Anyway, I do think it has to do with their detection system.
At my other account on RU and NA no FPS drops up to now. And I have installed exactly the same cheats there I do have on EU.All xactly the same.
10.01.2017 at 18:00 #111691HesAMentalMemberUnfortunately same for me too. Made the edits and after a few games FPS starts to drop slowly from 120 down to 35 or so. At which point a game restart is needed.
Has to be something XVM related as I tried with no mods except XVM and the FPS drop still happens. Clean WoT install no drop at all.
10.01.2017 at 18:29 #111692BornMemberIn my it helped switching minimap to false. I see I had always return FPS 95-120 – then I had 50-90 – after turning off minimap everything is back to normal.
15.01.2017 at 13:12 #111693BobCMemberWhat am I doing correct as I don’t have any lag or FPS drops?

Oh, I am not using my own PC which played 20k games at an average of 30FPS without any issues. But now this is my Son’s PC and it’s super duper fast with everything you could ever want inside it. Only issue is that it does not come complete with a competent operator.
16.01.2017 at 08:45 #111694soulzaParticipantit could be nvidia problem or something simple in graphic settings that has changed.
17.01.2017 at 13:23 #111695BobCMemberHmmm Nvidia could be getting naughty again. I recall when I first played WOT that I ended up buying a new GC card as Nvidia couldn’t keep up. But!!this is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 and running with 32Gb ram.
I changed the setting back to the original as it turned off all my tank names, players names, etc on the minimap and only left the icon and pointer. Tried it again and it still removes the players name but leaves the tank name. However it gives amazing clarity to the minimap, it’s as though I was viewing it in ultra HD.

Not that I noticed any need to change in the first instance but I did want to try it out

FPS loss is made by all mods who use mod_battleflash.swf and mod_battleflash.pyc20.01.2017 at 13:58 #111698TeKrMemberOn 1/17/2017 at 3:23 PM, BobC said:Hmmm Nvidia could be getting naughty again. Its not amd or nvidia gpu drivers related problem
I and a friend of mine we both have identical pc hardware The main difference is gpu i have GTX1070 he has RX480 and we both have frame drops20.01.2017 at 14:10 #111699Dang_Im_a_noobParticipant19 hours ago, soulza said:feck me sideways!!!!!
