It’s still there. It’s called Strongholds. Look in your garage.

Is it working? I always thought Stronghold was a new version of WOT similar to something like Capture the Flag instead of the normal Red v Green
Hmmm the garage locks up at loading content. Is that the dreaded CEF file again that I removed that is causing that?
Can someone give me a trusted copy of the files please. It’s in the RES folder.

lol Bob. I don’t look at Strongholds much (although I should as clan commander). It’s only interesting to you if you are in a clan.
Yes it is the dreaded CEF. Problem is it does not help to remove it because the WoT client will re-install it at client start. It’s a “feature”.
I’m going to address the CEF . Basicly it is this…….
CEF_Browser is part of the game needed to give you offers from WG. Polar fox is using that to splash advertisments in your garage so he han get “click hits” from google.

Now (thanks to CuntyBollox’s efforts) we THINK we figured out why it is causing freezes and errors. We need PolarFox to respond to this idea as we are guessing.
This is the thing. If you load PF player stats and PF garage stats together it will cause errors. Using only one will not cause errors. I THINK it might be because they both use the same modules and conflict with each other. (Double code use).
I’m not going to moan but this caused me to unload both mods and I won’t use them, or advise people to use them, untill they are fixed.
Soloutions? (This is guesswork for me).
1. Merge PF stats and PF garage stats to one mod so they do not fight over modules and cause memory overruns. Revise the code.
2. Include PF stats and PF garage stats in the BW modpack WITHOUT the CEF_browser advertisments. The BW modpack users already pay PF and trying to get even more money from them using “stand alones” is greedy and disrespectful. (My opinion).
I understand if PF wants to make money from users NOT using his modpack, but I think he needs to be nice(r) to his paying customers.

What I meant was that having accepted I was wrong that I am willing to reinstate the CEF file to allow me to enjoy the extra benefits that it offers.
So who can offer me the files that I need.
Then perhaps I may look at addressing a Clan
The CEF browser gets installed every time you start WoT.
What files do you need Bob? (Sorry my clan is not on NA).
