I use the legal “old skool promod pack” with aimbotshaytan, x  ray, target direction, scripted fire extinguisher , shadow, destroyed objects, easy tundra and something was hit. I had my python log protected and no ban

im in that wave. as for mods, bosomi tundra in seperate exe, direction box, xray, extinguisher, xvm and some other stuff from aslain (pmod), my own aimbot mod. whats interesting iv been using 2 acc for a while, one to play, one to test mods compatibility, mostly in proving grounds/bootcamp, but iv had some battles on it as well, and only main acc got ban.

iv been messing around with moding game myself, iv had python log unprotected for long time perioids, so its probably my own fault. any1 can confirm ban with python.lon on readonly?

The python log makes no difference.

lets hope thats not start of those hundreds lol

tbh, im quite sure they can’t, or much more, don’t want to find out all cheats users,

last few times iv thought they just ban random, out of use accs, that never paid any money to wg, and it was just for PR, yet iv got banned. iv been using bw pack some time ago, as well as ZJ mods, before iv found some alternatives, now im playing with code myself, and it may’v been my fuckup. im quite bad tempered player, kill a lot of my own team when im in shitty mood, may’v got flagged for something totally diffrent then anything related to mods itself. iv hoped for sumup of ban protection methods from one of admins here, outside of ‘buy our mods’, :)

The first banwaves were a bit…. errrrrr….. suspect. There were many inactive accounts banned. No WGL or top clan players were banned. After banwave 2, WG stopped the option to see who was banned in the clan profiles. However, reliable sources have confirmed that top players were removed from banlists.

The later banwaves were without a doubt triggered by detected mods. That has been fixed. (Here at least). It was suggested after banwave 4 that WG were saving people who deserved a ban and including them in the banwaves to pad the numbers. We do not know what procent of the bans were for cheating. The numbers of banned players does tell a story that looks like a quota. They might be triggering banwaves when the quota is full.

The developers of illegal mods will never give you any insight into how things are detected because that would be like showing your cards in Texas Holdum. This website does not say “Buy our Mods” anywhere. They provide mods to those who want them and they work hard to keep us safe. Nuff said on that.

thats kinda interesting point of view. they way i remember it after first ban list published, every1 was asking how it happened, and all users as well as devs cooperated to counter possible detection, i belive that very forum had a lot of topics like the one A_Troll created now, mentioned 3 posts above. its especially funny based on fact that 95% or so of mods are created in one sdk and all of them use one system of protection. its even funnier when you consider that its not rly possible to determine is any single mod 100% safe or not, unless its proven unsafe :D

tho, i may be wrong, maybe there actually is way to find out hidden anticheat routines in wot client and cheat them, but i somehow do doubt it :D

only other devs were working together and that only speaks for some of the devs, most just figured (or tried to) themselves.

Just had my account banned for 7 days, I have been running BW Aimbot with license for well over a year, I don’t use it all the time I would say about 10 percent of the time.  I had been off line for about 2 weeks and played four games for the first time today was fine, off line for about 6 hours and checked email and received ban notice.  I am on the NA server, I have followed the email and used CC Cleaner to clean up my files and have deleted and am in the process of reloading a complete new install as I could not figure out how to manually remove all the files.  To be honest I am not willing to take the chance of a permanent ban by doing anything else, I have too many years, too many tanks and too much hard money invested in this account to “risk” it.  I am sure WG will review the people they banned at a future point to ensure they are in compliance with the EULA, this is evidenced by the people who received life time bans in this wave.

Looking at the info posted they banned roughly 2500 people world wide and about 250 in the NA server for seven days and around 100 permanently banned for non compliance.

Not sure what to say to everyone, it is only a matter of time till you get the email, I guess it was my turn.

That is absolutely right and I very much feel your frustration about it.

I urge the forum mods and operators of the cheatmods to NOT give the picture to fellow players that there exists something like a “safe cheatmod”. It doesn’t.

We are all grown-ups (well, lets say most of us ^_^), and we can all understand that cheating may lead to account loss i.e. we can live with the danger. What is wrong, though, is giving players false hope about account security, because that is what will make them angry (when banned) and that way you will loose other potential paying aimbot customers.

Just be sincere about the risk and please remove the “UNDETECTED” tags from the posts.

Edit: Lol, the post below shows EXACTLY what I was trying to say
