WN8 is not as straight forward as people may think , some people hate it while others love it , i may point out that the haters are normally the ones with low ratings , not a joke this is true , they brought the annon thing into the game and tried to palm it off as an aid to people who have a high wn8 and were being targeted ? nothing of the sort , the only people who hide themselves are the ones who have been playing for years and still have a below par rating , rant over :0 ok back to WN8 and how its calculated ? its not really down to how much damage you do or spotting , tracking etc. well it is but it ALL DEPENDS on what vehicle you do it in. wn8 takes the average scores of everyone who plays a certain vehicle and calculates from there , so example take a popular tank that a lot of people play , tier 8 german scorpian , a shit load of people play this tank and inflict a ton of damage with it so for you to even get a half decent wn8 rating with this tank you need to outplay everyone else who is playing it for that week , its no good scoring 3k damage with it if everyone else is scoring 3.5 k damage on average , this is how it works , now take a not so popular vehicle that people dont like to play they just grind through it and then sell , these are the vehicles you will make the most wn8 playing , look at tier 5-7 on stat sites and work out the tanks get played the least , dont get me wrong most will be absolute shyte houses to play , but on occasion you will find one that suits your style and are able to bash your way around the battle field in . the “seven days” is also important as xvm will only calculate the average from the previous week , so as pointed out , the Phase 1 would i should imaging be quite popular at this time meaning that you need to outplay everyone else who is playing it or at least be in the top percentage of players playing it.
