That would make no difference to them. They know the folder structure. A program can enumerate hidden folders easily.
You can do it yourself by going to the command prompt and to the C: folder. Type dir programdata and you’ll see every file in the hidden directory.
Type dir and list files and folders. Type dir /ah and see all files and folders including hidden ones like programdata and “System Volume Information”.
