What’s the difference between: “textFormat”: and font. I see the 1st is usually size 8 and font around 10+ I always meant to ask for advice from you on that.
The difference is or i should say the method xvm uses goes like this ,
“textFormat”: { “align”: “right”, “valign”: “center”, “color”: “0x0066ff”, “size”: 15 },
“format”: “<font face=’gunplay’ size=’25’ >{{py:xvm.formatDate(‘%I:%M ‘)}}</font><font face=’gunplay’ size=’22’>{{py:xvm.formatDate(‘%p’)}}</font>”
you will normally see textformat then format directly beneath it , consider TEXTFORMAT as the default setup for this particular item of code ,the FORMAT is what your changing to what you want to be displayed if you did not put any font size in FORMAT it will use the TEXTFORMAT size by default, same with color and fontface , it uses this method for if you had say 10 items to display and only wanted to change some of the font sizes and colors.
hope this clears it up a little.
edit:-
this is version i have in battle, with quarter circle pen indicator bottom right of middle ,also battle observer has flight time and distance to target that goes nicely
