I’m pretty sure the bans are connected to the event. That is why the results were late. They had to manually check all the winners. The more they flagged as cheaters the more replays they had to look at. I suppose it was a nightmare lol.

250 replays @ 10 minutes each is 40 hours of watching. Suppose 150 were cheating, that’s another 25 hours. Hahahahaha.

On the other hand…………….. 4055 people were banned and 666 were permabanned.

That’s 4721 bans. @ 10 minutes per battle that’s 787 hours watching ONLY the people who were banned. Think how many hours watching people who wer not cheating. Anyone think this is possible?

Wargaming says “Before punishing a player, our team will review the case to ensure the discipline is merited. We’re asking you to trust in their decisions”. This basicly means that competition winners are checked against their stats. If they overperform in competitions, they are checked and a wargaming employee says “He did too good. He’s a cheater”. 

There is a grey area here too. “Review the case to ensure the discipline is merited.”. That opens the door for “He’s cheating but leave him alone”. Just an interesting point though……. did anyone look at the stats of the Joe who won the PC? Holy moley….. if he won, how many “Good” players got banned lol.

Wargamings “Fair Play Policy” is a joke. You do not need to cheat to get banned.

However, an interesting question to those who come here and say “I wasn’t cheating and I got banned”.
