This is an explanation of the Mongoose settings. All copyright for Mongoose is owned by PolarFox. This description was made by me for BlackWoT and if you need to repost this please give credits to PolarFox, BlackWoT and myself.

    Capture targets and general

This section is about HOW you capture the targets.

    Immediate capture next target,

This is auto snapping of the next target if the previous target is destroyed or disappears.

    Capturing angle.

This is life a “ray” or a “slice” from your tank towards the target. Anything in that ray will be captured. There is no angle but the size will increase or decrease according to the setting.

    Base point for hull.

    Vertical adjustment for hull.

    Base point for turret.

    Vertical adjustment for the turret.

    Weak points search.

This section is about HOW the bot searches for weal spots.

An explanation. As I understand this…. The tank outline, (area contained in “corners on target” ….see below), is divided into a number of points defined by “number of points processed by frame”. The bot will test each point for a penetration value above what is set in “minimal penetration chance”.

The bot will consider all points that meet the criteria. It will most probably lock on the highest chance of penetration. If the bot does not find a weak spot due to thick armor or your settings it will lock center on the preset point (hull or turret).

    Enable aimbot

I don’t need to explain this.

    Use balance zone.

The help says “In addition to default search algorithm for vulnerabilities, aimbot will try to automatically find the area with the highest coverage”.

I think this means that if the bot finds 2 points with the same pen chance it will choose the one with the largest area.

It could also mean that it will consider a large area as one point.

I will adjust this when I figure it out.

    Lock ineffective shots.

I think this means BLOCK ineffective shots. This means that shots that will not hit because the target is hidden or when the target will travel outside your gun constraints will be blocked.

Number of points processed per frame.

I think this is like a grid on the tank outline. The number of points processed per frame is set here. More points = more precise calculation but higher CPU usage.

    Minimal penetration chance.

This is how high you want the chance of penetration to be considered by the bot. Low value = lots of points for the bot to consider and high value = only a few points to consider and a higher pen chance. Setting this too high might cause the bot to find NO points and lock to center.

    Desired penetration chance.

This is a balance for the previous setting. I’m pretty sure they work together but this seems to be a setting for the bot to make a “potential” point into a “verified” point.

    Max personal speed.

The maximum speed of YOUR vehicle under which weak point search will occur. This is to adjust for poor dispersion while moving due to the tank or the crew.

    Max target speed.

The maximum speed of the target vehicle for weak point search to occur. This is a compensation for poor turret traverse or high reticle bloom.

Distance for work aimbot. (Distance range for weak point search)

This is the distance within which the aimbot will search for weak points. Outside these values the bot will lock center. Use this to adjust “twitching”. When you are locked on a target the bot will look for weak points. This can be seen by anyone in your tank. Use this to make it less obvious.

    Preemption

This is how much “lead” a target is given when it is moving. You can adjust this here because it is usually affected by ping and PC specs.

    Interpolation method.

REALLY don’t play with this unless you know what you are doing. I think this is the different versions of EWA and the way the weak points are calculated. This is something that can help with very poor PCs but I cannot test this due to me having a high-end PC and I will not see a difference. Just leave this alone.

    Preemption correction.

Increase or decrease “lead” on the target vehicle.

    Interface.

    Show corners on target.

    Show vehicle contours.

    Show info panel.

    No comments needed.

    Show info about target.

    No comments needed.

    Show penetration icon.

The big ugly thing that is red or green that appears when you have a possible shot. Red = no pen, green = chance to pen. (Set in “desired penetration chance”).

    Show penetration chance.

    Vertical panel position

    Vertical panel position

NOTE I’m pretty sure one of the above should say “Horizontal” but I don’t know which one. Play with it if you are hard-core and tell me lol.

    Autoshot

    Enable autoshooting.

    No comments needed.

    Max distance

    No comments needed

    Minimal dispersion value.

The help says. “Dispersion value required for auto shooting. Calculated from higher to lower, where 0 = full aiming”. This is how much your reticle shrinks before fully aimed. So 100% is full bloom and 0% is fully aimed.

    Adjusting touch point.

I think this means “Adjusting capture point”. Vertical adjustment for center tank (before weak point search is complete).

    Adjusting statistic time collection.

Click time for weak point search.

    Hotkeys preferences.

I don’t really need to comment this.
