40k games under my belt and I still don’t know the difference.
Personal reserves are numbered, 1, 11, 111 ie 1,2,3
Here is the conundrum for me. Are they only supposed to be used with tiers 1, 2 and 3 respectively?

Perhaps the numbers are merely a grading system ie 1 is low and 11 being a decent reserve and 111 being the best of the lot but that they can be used with ANY tank tier.
Hope that makes sense coz i’m confused as fuck myself
Finally I may get a chance to use them properly instead of spamming them 3 at a time just to use them up.

I was not aware there were tier restrictions Bob. Are you seeing the amount for each type of reserves you have?
If I’m wrong can you tell me where you see these numbers because I’m dead curious now

It might be the small, medium, large reserves. WG had those untill they realized that S,M,L could not properly be used because on crew XP they have 25% (not any more) 50%, 100% 200% and 300% so they all got called “Large” and 25% got called “small”. It was the same for X-credits X-FXP and X-XP.
I’m pretty sure they use S,M,L to describe the packages they come in, and not the reserves themselves.
Anyway….. in any case, the 1,2,3 is useless information now.
I am glad to see that I had been wasting the Reserves on decent tanks albeit squandering them.
It was horrifying to see them being amassed and around Xmas time last year I had over 300 of them possibly many more so I just started wasting them 3 at a time on tanks like my T59 for no other reason than I could.
Then came the thought that they were useless at those tiers because I believed they could only be used on tier 1, 11 and 111 tanks respectively.
Since then I only used them tier 1-3 but at the same time those wee tanks were worthy of advancing the crews as my main tanks all have have crews with x5 skills as a minimum. Yep, I was sad and silly and kept my original crew in their same tanks so had no need to upgrade them with Reserves.
How silly am I?

Like A_Troll said they are essentially small, medium, and large, now called tier I, II, III. They can be used for any tier.
