Here is another one of my ban threads.
I like to analyse the players who were banned to see if there is anything common. Even if you didn’t get banned, some feedback in this thread is helpfull.
There are thouusands of players using illegal mods and only VERY few get banned. We know it is players behaviour and/or “sniffer mods”.
1. If you got banned please tell us what mods you were using so we can figure out how people were banned. It’s important to say if you were using things like Aslains, XVM, ZJ etc.
2. Did you use mods ANYTIME that was not from this site. (Anytime = in the last 6 months).
3. Tell us if your stats have jumped upwards in the last few months.
4. Have you been reported by toxic/angry players?
It’s important (mostly to me) to understand what WG is looking at when they are detecting mod use.
REMEMBER do not use, or post, your in-game nick here. WG reads these forums. If anyone wants me to look at their in-game stats, please PM your ingame nick to me and I promise I will delete the PM when I have read it.
The Admins and me are the only ones who can see a PM that is sent to me and I will not share such information with anyone.
I got a 7 day ban.
Used it on an account with green WN8. Played intensely for about 2 months. 3 marked a variety of t6, t7 tanks. Had deep purple recent WN8 during that time (since I have rarely driven any t8 or stock tanks during that time). Did a lot of hits on unspotted arty, tanks outside of 500m render range, multiple blindshots to same spot etc. Though I got most of the improvement from target direction and tundra.
Only did random matches.
Got a lot of angry fan mail. Did a lot of flaming myself.
Mods used (downloaded from pkmods):
ZJ Countour Look, Target Direction, MRL (no Aimbot), Tundra Script, Shadows, Lasers, Redball, destruction, Invis hit, auto aim optimizer, minimap gun direction, zoom x60, Red Pole
My guess: If they can see reviews, they probably noticed the high amount of successful consecutive blindshots and shots outside of 500m range.

My stats are as steady as an old Spitfire climbing through the skies when compared to our more modern Euro Fighter which simply goes verticle through the sky.
No Bans and no increase in stats and I only use Bwot.
That alone is positive proof that Bwot works as I no longer play as many games as I once did yet there is no decrease in stats.

Well contour look and target directions can be substituted, but what about MRL from ZJ?
I was using limarik red ball.
But from what you said, it seems like I used way too many bad ones and way too obvious.

not sure about Limarik…but deffo stay away from anything “ZJ” or “Protanki” is sus too…..

I use a private pack, with non xvm stat mod, and auto equip mod. Was banned 1 year ago for 7 days on 1 of 2 accounts while using ZJ, since then no ban (yet)
side note, I take about 7-10 blind shots a game at usual suspect bushes and whatnot, and get angry pm’s after match saying enjoy your ban, sending report to WG. 🙂 To which I always reply, learn to kemp bush in not so obvious bushes u scrublord!!

100% guaranteed ban.
– Perma ban for illegal use of mods.
– Only have Solo’s Mod Pack installed since. Approved as per Wargaming’s site.
– Got a 7 day ban in the last wave which was likely bad use of SAE auto aim. The only mod outside of Solo’s I used.
– Hard drive was completely cleaned out after the 7 day ban as I rebuild my desktop with a new HD. I didn’t want to screw anything up at that point with WoT.
– Wargaming has been of no use to talk to in a ticket. They have only told me how to clean my wargaming install and that they would “offer” to reset my account with only my premium tanks.
– Only thing I can honestly think of is they watched me play the haunted tanks event. I would always rush in and lock on to the target tank “legally” and do the circle of death while a buddy fired from range. It was just to easy but did it on pretty much every tank. However I was only using the legal lock from vanilla. Could this be construed as aimbotting? I’m stumped on this.
