world of tanks crashing

hi, so i have this problem when i play world of tanks about 10 minutes it randomly crashes but not on desktop or anything its just black screen with top white label saying world of tanks and thats all, am i the only one that has this?

Is your video card Nvidia?
2 things:
- Anythime this has happened to me I always blamed the people who made the Mods that I used. I was always wrong as I had mistakenly placed parts of the download in the wrong folders. Could you have did that? Delete all your Mods and try with a fresh, clean, vanilla game and if that works then you know it’s a Mod that is causing the issue. Reinstall them 1 by 1 until you find the culprit.
- If it’s a Nvidia card I also lost everything and had constant crashes to a black screen. The issue there was only diagnosed when I installed a temperature app called Core Temp. Nvidia graphics card was overheating and in turn the CPU was running hotter as the card was struggling therefore it started closing down to prevent further damage. A quick look at YouTube and it was fixed. Check your GC and if it has a cover protecting the fan then undo them and remove the fan cover. Beneath that you will almost likely find that your fan is clogged up with dust/ It looked more like a sheeps coat that I had in there. Remove the dust, screw up the cover, remount the GC and I bet your issues are finished. I did this around 3 years ago and have never had to do it again.

If your video card is an Nvidia 10 series try down grading to an older driver. I have a GTX1060 and any video driver newer than 397.64 will cause WoT to freeze up. Ever since the Soccer update and after I freeze, I get an error message about the video drivers failing and have to reboot. It happens usually after about 3 or 4 games and ONLY with newer drivers. WoT is the only game that happens on. Go Figure.

I’ve tried that before. It’s a driver issue with the newer Nvidia drivers and WoT. The older drivers work just fine, though.

lol @ WG programming an update with old drivers. (Nothing surprises me any more).
One thing that we did notice was that the “fix” (micropatch) they used to stop the chat bug seems to be part of pre-1.0 code. The one that was causing game crashes before. IT’S THE SAME CODE.
I guess the patches they use are called Elastoplast Hahahahaha @ that.
This exact same thing is happening to me but there is around a 10 chance that it will work.
I would like to try to reinstall the game as this person did but I have a world which I am not willing to lose. So 2 questions: is there another way to solve this? And where is the save file located so I can copy it?
