This is something I would like to know as well.. if anyone has some data to compare the two and would like to share, that would be totally awesome. I am currently using EWA 2 with BWMOD Unlimited.

well as you can read by the shoutbox. I have swapped to the EWA1.. so the differences..

    EWA2:

    Pros”

    • Less adjustments needed to adapt to your WoT game and latency.
    • by default setting is pretty much set to go.
    • if any only minor adjustments needed to personalize to your game.
    • Ability to swap target points: Hull, Turret, and LFD (not sure if typo to be Lower Front Plate, or means Look for Damage????)
    • Hotkey allows you to rotate thru the aimbot options: off, auto-aim, or autoshoot (if enabled in settings)

    Cons:

    • Does not have adaptive aim like EWA1.
    • Some personalizations that EWA1 has that could be utilitized in EWA2.

    EWA1:

    Pros:

    • Has the adaptive aim
    • more personalization options to better dial in to your liking and playstyle.

    Cons:

    • Does not have the ability to rotate thru the autoaim options like EWA2. It’s either off or on.
    • if not understanding the settings.. to many slider options could be considered a con.
    • this may or may not be related to EWA1. possibly interferes with Makct’s armor penetration calculator. didn’t seem to have this problem with EWA2. possible settings or haven’t updated that mod.

So I hope this may help those who have this mod to decide which they like better EWA1 or EWA2.. If there is any incorrect information above. please quote it and or correct :).

This information is solely based on my use of EWA2 and just swapped to EWA1 today.. I am still dialing in the EWA1 setting to my WoT game Latency, FPS, etc..

Word of helpfulness.. If you decide to swap between either AImbot.. load the game have a tier 1 or 2 tank.. use the proving grounds battles to adjust your mod settings. Much smarter that way then just jumping into a random battle and get pissed off that your setting aren’t what you want it to be.

on a second note on both EWA1 and EWA2 mods.. there are several settings in the mod that I have yet to fully understand without having to do a lot of proving ground test battles to figure them out..

A guide or even a “?” on each setting to give some detail what each one does, like some of the settings now have would be greatly appreciated.

for example: the offsets for the hull, turret, and LFD settings.. they offset as the setting says:

    • but exactly WHICH way does it offset?
    • up or down?
    • Left or Right?
    • does increasing the number offset which direction?
    • does decreasing the number offset which direction?

    shot_027.jpg

and as you can see what I mentioned in the previous post.. the EWA1 setting do not get you the option to rotate thru the target tank locations.. only on or off option.

these are NOT the DEFAULT settings.. I am still dialing it in to perform much like the EWA2 mod.. Only reason I have swapped to the EWA1 is for the adaptive (ability to lock on where you want to autoshoot) aiming ability

I am NOT attempting to offend nor cause any grief towards this mod nor the creator/s of this aiming mod nor the BWmod creators. If I have in ANY way then I do apologize for any offense you may take from this reply..

And just to say.. I am NOT saying this is a bad mod, nor is it inferior in any way.. only stating how I compare the 2 mods, and what would be considered helpful to me and possibly other members here who also use this mod.

I seem to get better luck with EWA2. I use it on fast targets at range and close-up I use manual aim.

I was finding that the EWA1 was not adapting to speed as well as EWA2 and was dropping shots behind the target. EWA2 seems to adapt faster although the EWA1 did adapt after a longer aim time. (It seemed so anyway). Hit rate was higher with EWA2 anyway.

Close battles show that both react the same and it doesn’t matter which one you use. Then again….. we talk about behaviour being detectable and I see EWA1 not being as smooth as EWA2. My guess is that update frequencies are different and in that case EWA1 would be easier to detect as an aimbot.

Bottom line? I prefer EWA2 on standard settings for short to middle range and modded settings at long range. (No, I won’t share settings, don’t ask).
