ok found the problem and fixed it , it was old code that had been left in the config file ,

you need to replace these two files in the mods/configs/mod_battle_observer/armagomen folder

<a class="ipsAttachLink" data-fileid="12328" href="/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=12328″ rel=””>main_gun.json

it will then look like this :-

main gun is now off to the right of top center , and the four items ,damage,blocked,spotted and stunned are top center.

nb. and yes i did win the battle in the end but had shakes at the end
