Two Factor Authentication allows members of your community to secure their accounts using an additional layer of security in addition to their normal username and password. Different handlers provide different ways users can protect their account.

    Google Authenticator

A code will be shown on an app on the user’s smartphone app which they will then need to enter.

    Nope.

Not that it would ever happen and heaven forbid that anyone would be so unscrupulous as to pass on the collected phone numbers to a Third party for their own dirty nefarious deeds. Simply put to spam you to death with Russian Porn etc…..

No, we don’t need that wither it be email or phone authentication.

Change that password and make sure it’s strong using letters of upper and lower case, numbers and characters or even by adding the characters from a second language.

This world has gone super mental ie daft for information that is ill-gained so it’s a massive no from me.

Oh and be aware that Smartphones of the Android type that has an OS by Google ie Samsung that all your conversations are already recorded under the premise that Google is training your phone to recognise and translate your voice for the simple commands eg Cortana or whatever its called.. Tell me the time etc.

When it comes to Google then nothing is free and simple but merely a colossal FUBAR situation so don’t do it.

I have ranted on here often enough but now that I have my phone adjusted within *nope I am not telling you where as the tinfoil hat is on*, that the information has been reduced that Google receives and passes on.

You guys, I even accused of using my chats during the day in that big wide open world we call planet Earth to add in as player names. Was I correct? Too fucking right I was as Wargaming somehow got hold of the Convos yet when challenged all they replied with was, “Bob, you have not yet registered your phone number with us, would you like to do it now to save your account?”

Pfft, Fuck No! Guys don’t do it. *wipes the sweat from forehead and return the tinfoil hat” ……. oops hahaha 9_9

In this day and age of cyber theft, hacking and snooping we need to protect our information and the way we distribute said info. I vote yes but can’t there be another way other that a phone. These things are not secure and thieves love to go after the information that they carry. I have a mobile phone and hate it. I carry it because my family ask (told) me to. I don’t think I will like to go to my phone to  authenticate my account. I have no problem with a verification code within the forum though.

I agree with the security but don’t like the sharing of phone numbers.

Micro chip you all, eyeball recognition, finger printing and a DNA sample.

That way you cannot cross any border without a quadruple identification process.

    Sounds simple to me. :D

Security is there for a reason.
