i have a utillity came with the motherboard that allows you to boot straight to bios , got that sorted out :)

the memory is exact same spec and make

corsair ddr4 vengeance 2400mhz i made sure i bought the two x8 gig sticks exact same ,you are correct about slot colour slot 1 and 3 are grey 2 and 4 are black ,

so i put the 8’s in slot 1 and 3 and where for the 4gig ? 2 or 4 ?

 

also why is my monitor not waking up until windows loads to login screen ? tv wakes up on boot screen via hdmi , monitor via display port does not.

 

side note , world of tanks with xvm running 120 fps on medium settings ????? whooottt!!!! and its ahh so quiet as well
